While they are used in a similar way, they are distinct products. Traditional snus contains ground tobacco, giving it a heavier, more tobacco-forward character. übbs nicotine pouches contain no tobacco whatsoever. They use pharmaceutical-grade nicotine alongside plant-based materials, resulting in a lighter feel with a wider range of flavour options. The comparison table above sets out the key differences in full.

Each übbs pouch contains nicotine, plant-based filling materials, flavourings and sweeteners. There is no tobacco, no smoke and no vapour involved. The pouch itself is a slim, white sachet designed to sit comfortably between the upper lip and gum, where it gradually releases nicotine and flavour over up to 30 minutes.

When you place an übbs pouch under your upper lip, the nicotine and flavour are absorbed gradually through the gum lining. You will typically notice a light tingle as the pouch activates, which settles after a few minutes. The flavour and nicotine release steadily for up to 30 minutes, at which point you simply remove the pouch and discard it. No smoke, no spit and no need to chew or swallow anything.

Yes. Because übbs pouches produce no smoke or vapour and have no visible effect from the outside, they are well suited to discreet use across a wide variety of settings in the UAE, from office environments and shopping centres to restaurants and social occasions. You should always be mindful of venue-specific policies and local regulations when using any nicotine product.

übbs products are intended for existing nicotine consumers aged 18 and over who are looking for an alternative to their current nicotine routine. They are not suitable for individuals who have never consumed nicotine. If you have questions about nicotine use and your health, a healthcare professional is best placed to advise you.

No. Nicotine pouches, patches and gum are all distinct products that deliver nicotine in different ways. A nicotine pouch is placed under the upper lip and releases nicotine through the gum lining over up to 30 minutes. It is not swallowed, does not need to be chewed, and sits discreetly in the mouth. Patches are worn on the skin, while nicotine gum is chewed to release nicotine. übbs produces nicotine pouches only, and they are tobacco-free across the full range.
